Creamy Chocolate Layered Pie
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon milk
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 (12-ounce) container frozen nondairy whipped topping, thawed - divided use
1 (8-inch) graham cracker pie crust
1 1/2 cups milk
1 (7-ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
- Mix together softened cream cheese, 1 tablespoon milk, and sugar in a bowl. Fold in 1 1/2 cups of the nondairy whipped topping. Spread mixture over 1 graham cracker pie crust.
- In a large bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups cold milk and instant chocolate pudding mix. Beat for 1 minute then stir in 2 cups from the reserved non-dairy whipped topping. Spread over the cream cheese layer.
- Chill for 4 hours, or until set.
- Garnish with the remaining non-dairy whipped topping.
Makes 8 servings.
