Swirled™ Chocolate Coconut Macadamia Pie
A delicious tropical twist on the classic chocolate chip pie.
(Note: If you can't find Nestle's Swirled Semi-Sweet & Premier White Morsels, substitute with one or the other, or a combination of their regular morsels.)
1 (9-inch) deep-dish unbaked pie crust*
2 large eggs
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup (6 ounces) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® SWIRLED™ Semi-Sweet & Premier White Morsels**
3/4 cup flaked sweetened coconut
3/4 cup chopped macadamia nuts
- Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Beat eggs, butter, flour, granulated sugar and brown sugar in large mixer bowl on high speed until combined. Stir in morsels, coconut and nuts. Spread into pie shell.
- Bake for 50 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between edge and center comes out clean. Cool slightly on wire rack. Serve warm with ice cream.
Makes 8 servings.
*Use store bought, ready-to-use pie pastry, or your favorite recipe for homemade pie pastry.
