
Try this delicious, perfect dessert with
a tropical island flavor.

Chocolate Coconut Macadamia Pie
- 1 unbaked 9-inch (4-cup
volume) deep-dish pie shell *
2 large eggs
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup (6 ounces) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® SWIRLED
Semi-Sweet & Premier White Morsels**
3/4 cup flaked sweetened coconut
3/4 cup chopped macadamia nuts
1 pint (16 ounces) HAAGEN-DAZ Pineapple Coconut Ice Cream (optional)
- Preheat oven to 325°F
(160°C).
- Beat eggs, butter, flour,
granulated sugar and brown sugar in large mixer bowl on high
speed until combined. Stir in morsels, coconut and nuts. Spread
into pie shell.
- Bake for 50 to 55 minutes
or until knife inserted halfway between edge and center comes
out clean. Cool slightly on wire rack. Serve warm with ice cream.
Makes 8 servings.
*If using a frozen pie
shell, use deep-dish style, thawed completely. Bake on baking
sheet; increase bake time slightly.
