Nuts crusts interchange perfectly with
crumb crusts and they're gluten-free!
Walnut Pie Crust
- 1 1/2 cups coarsely ground walnuts
3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine all ingredients.
Press mixture firmly onto bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate.
- Bake at 325°F (160°C) for about
10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool.
Makes one 9-inch pie crust.
