Cottage Pizza Supreme
A hearty, thick and chewy pizza topped with mixture of crumbled Italian sausage, mushrooms, onions, seasoned tomato paste, cottage, mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
1 (13.75-ounce) package hot yeast roll mix
1/2 pound bulk Italian sausage, cooked and drained
1 (16-ounce) container cream-style cottage cheese
1 (12-ounce) can Italian-seasoned tomato paste
1 cup shredded Wisconsin mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup chopped onion
8 ounces fresh mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
1/2 cup freshly grated Wisconsin Parmesan cheese
- Prepare roll mix according to package directions. Press onto bottom and sides of greased 15 x 10-inch jelly-roll pan, or 13-inch diameter pizza pan.
- Combine all ingredients except Parmesan cheese. Spread on prepared dough. Top with Parmesan cheese. Let rise 30 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for (190°C) 35 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is nicely browned.
