Spicy Cheese Nut Pizza
This nutty cheese pizza is given a spicy kick of flavor with a few shakes of a Szechuan style pepper blend.
1 refrigerated prepared pizza crust
1/2 cup Wisconsin Mascarpone cheese
1 teaspoon Szechuan style pepper blend
1 3/4 cups Wisconsin shredded Italian Blend cheese*
3/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
- Unroll the pizza crust and press out on a lightly greased pan, according to package directions. Spread the Mascarpone evenly over the crust.
- Sprinkle the remaining ingredients on top.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 425°F (220°C) for 15 to 18 minutes or until the crust is a deep golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
Makes 4 servings.
*Or use mozzarella and/or provolone cheese.
