Be imaginative with your pizza! Add chopped green bell peppers or pickled banana peppers. Sprinkle with browned Italian sausage, salami bits, cut-up anchovies or thin slices of pepperoni. Dream up your own favorite pizza topping.
1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
1/4 cup chopped onions
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 (12-inch) prepared pizza crust
1 cup shredded Wisconsin Mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup sliced green olives
1 (6-ounce) can whole mushrooms, drained
1/2 cup grated Wisconsin Parmesan cheese
- Mix together tomato sauce, onion, garlic salt and oregano. Spread over unbaked pizza crust. Sprinkle with shredded Mozzarella. Sprinkle sliced green olives and mushrooms over top. Top with grated Parmesan.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 425°F (220°C) for 20 to 30 minutes until crust is light brown and cheeses are melted.
