Basic Boneless Leg of Pork

No recipe image available.Simple and basic instructions for cooking a boneless fresh leg of pork. Serve anytime of the year with your favorite side dishes.

Recipe Ingredients:

3 1/2 to 4-pound boneless leg of pork (fresh ham)

Cooking Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
  2. Place in a roasting pan and roast for 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours or until meat thermometer inserted in thickest part reads 150°F (65°C) (about 18 to 20 minutes per pound).
  3. Remove from oven and cover. Let rest for 20 minutes before slicing. If your butcher has tied the roast with string, remove string before slicing.

Makes 8 to 10 servings.
