This simple, spiced cherry
sauce goes very well with ham.
Ham
with Spiced Cherry Sauce

fully-cooked ham slice
1 (16-ounce) can tart pie cherries
5 teaspoons cornstarch

2 tablespoons water
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon ground allspice

allspice. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick
and clear. Add red wine and the cherries.
- Pour over the ham slices
and bake in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 45 minutes.
