Praline Pork Tenders

2 large whole pork tenderloins, about 2 pounds total
4 teaspoons butter, divided use
1 1/2 cups maple-flavored syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 cup dark rum
1 cup chopped pecans
  1. Melt 1 teaspoon butter in nonstick skillet. Brown tenderloins on all sides. Remove to shallow baking pan.
  2. Melt remaining butter in small saucepan, add remaining ingredients and blend well. Pour sauce over tenderloins. Roast at 350 degrees F. for 20 to 30 minutes, basting often, until internal temperature reaches 155-160 degrees F.
  3. To serve, slice into one-inch slices and drizzle with remaining glaze.

Serves 8.
