Very easy and surprisingly good, oven-roasted ham steak topped with a cheesy horseradish crust.
1 (16-ounce) ham steak
3/4 cup cottage cheese
1 tablespoon horseradish
1 tablespoon white distilled vinegar
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
- Trim ham and place in a roasting pan and bake for 15 minutes, turning once.
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl combine cottage cheese, horseradish, and vinegar. Spread over the ham then bake for 5 minutes more, or until heated through.
Makes 4 servings.
