Country-style ribs become
very tender when cooked slowly at a low temperature. Raise the
heat towards end of cooking time to brown them nicely. Serve
with hot cooked rice seasoned with cumin seed and a cucumber
salad.
Teriyaki-Orange
Country-Style Pork Ribs
- 2 pounds country-style
ribs
1/2 cup teriyaki marinade
1/3 cup orange marmalade
- Heat oven to 300°F
(150°C).
- In large bowl stir together
marinade and marmalade; add ribs and toss to coat thoroughly;
pour ribs and marinade into a large roasting pan, sprayed with
vegetable cooking spray. Cover well with foil and bake for 2
1/2 hours, until ribs are tender.
- Raise oven temperature
to 425°F (220°C), uncover ribs and roast for 30 minutes
to brown, watching to make sure they are not browning too quickly.
