Crunchy corn chips add a surprising bite to this fun and festive salad. For relaxed entertaining marinate the beans ahead of time and toss the salad at your convenience.

Marinated Green Chile and Bean Salad

1 (15.5-ounce) can pinto beans, drained
1 (15.5-ounce) can black beans, drained
1 (8-ounce) bottle Catalina style dressing
1 cup red onion, chopped
1 (4-ounce) can diced green chiles
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 bag prepared salad
1 1/2 cups chopped fresh tomato
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 small bag corn chips, slightly broken up
  1. Combine pinto beans, black beans, dressing, onion, chile and garlic in medium bowl. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
  2. Toss bean mixture, salad, tomatoes, cheese and corn chips in large bowl. Serve immediately.

Makes 10 servings.
