
An easy, tasty and satisfying
entrée salad of canned albacore tuna, fusilli pasta, cubes
of low-fat dill-flavored havarti cheese, kalamata olives, red
and green bell pepper and green onions tossed with your favorite
Italian dressing.

Tuna Salad
- 3 (6 1/2-ounce) cans water
packed albacore tuna, drained and flaked
1/2 pound low-fat dill Havarti cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1/2 cup pitted kalamata or black olives, thinly sliced
2 (8-ounce) packages fusilli, cooked according to package directions
1 cup thinly sliced green onions
1/2 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
1/2 cup thinly sliced green bell pepper
Zest from 1 lemon
1 (8-ounce) bottle Italian salad dressing
8 Lettuce leaves, washed and patted dry
Olives, for garnish
- Combine all ingredients
in a large bowl. Toss to combine. Let stand for 15 minutes. Serve
on a lettuce leaf. Garnish with olives, if desired.
