
A simple, autumn-perfect
salad of mixed greens and thinly sliced pear served with a simple
ginger-spiced cranberry pear dressing and garnished with whole
toasted walnuts.
Mixed
Green Salad with Cranberry Pear Salad Dressing
- Dressing:
1 cup Ocean Spray® Jellied Cranberry Sauce
1/2 cup diced canned pears, reserving 1/2 cup syrup
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger

- Salad:
1 (9-ounce) package salad greens
2 ripe pears, sliced thin
Whole toasted walnuts, if desired
- For Dressing: Put all
ingredients, including the reserved 1/2 cup pear syrup, in a
food processor or blender and process on High for 2 minutes or
until smooth.
- For Salad: Arrange the
salad greens, slices of pear and nuts on a salad plate; drizzle
with dressing and serve immediately.
- Store unused dressing
in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
