This salad, with its combination of traditional
Mexican ingredients, may remind you of a chicken taco. Serve
as a perfect start to your favorite Mexican meal.
Smoked
Chicken and Salsa Salad
- 4 cups shredded lettuce
2 cups shredded smoked chicken
1 (4-ounce) can diced green chiles
1/3 cup sliced green onions
1 large tomato, seeded and chopped
1/3 cup sliced ripe olives
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup thick and chunky salsa
1/2 cup crushed tortilla chips
- Layer lettuce, chicken,
chiles, onions, tomato, olives, cheese and salsa in large salad
bowl.
- Toss right before serving.
Garnish with tortilla chips.
