A champion of a sandwich stacked with creamy egg salad, ham, cheese and lettuce on rye bread.
3 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
2 tablespoons finely chopped celery
2 tablespoons chopped pitted black olives
1 to 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
8 slices rye bread
4 slices boiled or baked ham
4 slices Wisconsin sharp cheddar cheese
- Combine chopped eggs, celery, olives and enough mayonnaise to moisten.
- For each sandwich, fill with egg mixture, ham, cheese and lettuce.
