Day After Thanksgiving Turkey Croissant SandwichUsing leftovers from Thanksgiving, the classic turkey sandwich is served with a touch of flair only a buttery, flaky croissant can provide.

Recipe Ingredients:

1 bakery fresh croissant, split
3 slices roast turkey
1/2 cup prepared stuffing
Softened butter or mayonnaise to taste
2 tablespoons cranberry sauce (whole or jellied)
Red leaf lettuce (or other leafy lettuce), washed and dried

Cooking Directions:

  1. Spread the inside of the split croissant with softened butter or mayonnaise.
  2. Heat the turkey and stuffing in the microwave on HIGH for 30 seconds, if desired.
  3. Layer half of croissant with hot turkey and stuffing, cranberry sauce and lettuce, and top with the other half of croissant.
  4. Serve immediately.

Makes 1 serving. Increase recipe as needed.
