
Burgers with Greek finesse,
perfect fare for a backyard get-together or a casual supper gathering.

Greek
Burgers with Feta Cheese
- 4 (6 to 8-ounce) beef
burger patties
Kosher salt to taste
Cracked black pepper to taste
1/2 seedless cucumber, cut in half moon slices
1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup champagne vinegar
2 teaspoons dried oregano leaves
1/2 teaspoon garlic, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
4 burger buns, toasted
1/3 cup (2 to 3 ounces) crumbled Wisconsin Feta Cheese
- Season beef patties with
salt and pepper. Brush heated grill with vegetable oil. Grill
patties 5 to 7 minutes on each side or to desired doneness.
- Meanwhile, toss together
all remaining ingredients, except buns and cheese, to make a
salad.
- Place grilled burgers
on toasted bun bottoms. Top with salad and crumbled Feta. Top
with bun tops.
