This is great recipe for
making after-Thanksgiving grilled cheese and turkey sandwiches.
Take this sandwich to the next flavor level by adding a spoonful
of leftover stuffing, too!
Grilled
Cheese Gobblers
- 8 slices sourdough or
multigrain bread
1/2 cup whole cranberry sauce
1/2 pound sliced turkey
1/4 pound thinly sliced mild or sharp cheddar cheese
Butter, softened
- Spread 4 bread slices
with cranberry sauce; top with turkey, cheese and remaining bread
slices. Lightly spread outsides of sandwiches with butter; cook
in skillet over medium-low heat until browned on both sides.
Makes 4.
