For a heartier sandwich, add sliced turkey
or chicken to traditional grilled cheese sandwiches.

Swiss Sandwiches

2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
6 slices light or dark rye bread
6 ounces very thinly sliced smoked turkey or chicken breast
4 ounces sliced Swiss cheese
3 tablespoons margarine or butter
- In a small bowl, combine mustard and horseradish;
spread on half of the rye bread slices. Arrange turkey slices
over mustard-covered bread; top with cheese and remaining bread.
Halve each sandwich.
- In a 12-inch skillet, melt 2 tablespoons
of the margarine or butter; add sandwiches. Cook over medium
heat 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted,
