Ham and classic Italian flavors make a great combination. Serve with seasonal tomatoes drizzled with olive oil, or pepperoncini any time of the year.

Italian Grinder Sandwich

6 slices (6 ounces) ham, sliced thin
2 foccacia wedges
2 basil leaves, sliced thin
2 slices (2 ounces) mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons low-fat Italian dressing
  1. Cut each foccacia wedge in half horizontally. Layer ham on bottom of foccacia. Top with basil and cheese; place under broiler to melt cheese. Spread Italian dressing on inside of remaining foccacia; place on top of sandwich. Serve warm.

Makes 2 servings.
