Kiddiwiches.

Young and old will love this tasty cream cheese spread with finely shredded Swiss cheese, crushed pineapple and chopped peanuts served on raisin bread. For a savory twist, include a slice or two of ham on the sandwiches.

Kiddiwiches

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup (1 ounce) Wisconsin Swiss cheese, finely shredded
1 (8 1/4-ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
1/4 cup chopped peanuts
12 slices raisin bread
3 tablespoons butter
6 slices boiled ham (optional)
  1. Combine cream cheese, Swiss cheese, pineapple and nuts. Mix until smooth and of spreading consistency.
  2. Butter raisin bread slices and spread each with cheese spread. Place slice of ham (if desired) between two slices and cut into quarters.

Makes 6 servings.
