Taco sauce and green chiles add a kick to sloppy joes.

Sloppy Jose

1 to 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup (an 8 ounce bottle) ORTEGA Taco Sauce - Medium
1 (4-ounce) can ORTEGA® Diced Green Chiles, optional
8 hamburger buns
Topping suggestion: SARGENTO® 4-Cheese Mexican Blend, shredded lettuce
  1. Cook beef and onion in large skillet until beef is browned; drain. Stir in taco sauce and chiles; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Serve on buns with toppings.

Makes 8 servings.
