
Double up on the cheese
and double up on the flavor with this tasty two-cheese, cheeseburger!
Two-Cheese
Burger
- 1 pound ground beef
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup alfalfa sprouts
4 lettuce leaves
4 hamburger buns, sliced
8 slices (1 ounce each) Wisconsin Swiss Cheese
8 slices (1 ounce each) Wisconsin Cheddar Cheese
- Combine meat, onion, and
seasonings; mix well. Shape into four 4-inch patties.
- Grill or broil burgers
to desired doneness.
- Top each burger with two
slices of Wisconsin Swiss cheese; remove from heat when cheese
is melted.
- On the bottom half of
each of four hamburger buns, place alfalfa sprouts and two slices
of Wisconsin Cheddar cheese. Add burger patties, additional alfalfa
sprouts, lettuce, and bun tops.
