
Bright and colorful cranberry sauce is
traditionally served at festive fall and winter holiday meals.
Cranberry
Sauce
- 3 cups fresh whole cranberries
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
3/4 cup water
- Add cranberries and water
to a medium saucepan.
- Bring to a simmer.
- Add sugar and simmer for
another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Flavor with lemon zest
or toasted walnuts.
Makes 12 servings.
