Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Sauce

1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon brown sugar, packed
1 tablespoon light corn syrup
1/4 cup smooth peanut butter
1/2 cup half-and-half
4 1/2 ounces milk chocolate, chopped
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons water
  1. In a small saucepan melt butter with brown sugar and corn syrup over medium heat, stirring, add peanut butter and half-and-half; bring the mixture to a simmer. Add chocolate and salt, stir sauce until it is smooth, then stir in the water.
  2. Serve warm sauce over ice cream.

Makes 1 cup.
