
Enjoy the taste of chicken
tandoori with this simple recipe.
Tandoori
Rub
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger
2 tablespoons curry powder
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (8-ounce) carton plain yogurt
- In a small bowl, stir
together garlic, ginger, curry powder, cumin, and salt.
- To use, wear disposable
or plastic gloves to avoid staining your hands. Rub garlic mixture
evenly onto chicken. Spread yogurt evenly over chicken.
- Cover and chill at for
4 to 24 hours before cooking.
Makes about 1 1/4 cups
rub (enough for 3 pounds chicken).
