Sour cream is the base
of this marinade, and chili powder and cumin steer it toward
the Southwest.
Tex-Mex
Basting Sauce
- 1/2 cup sour cream
3 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons dried onion flakes
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon paprika
1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
- In a medium bowl, combine
all ingredients. Let stand for 15 minutes. Baste meat with the
sauce during baking or grilling.
Makes about 1 cups.
