Enough to stuff a medium
duck or an 8 to 12 pound turkey.
'Sweet' Stuffing
- 12 slices old bread
- 3 cups sweet potatoes, cooked and mashed
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon orange rind
- 1/2 cup minced onion
- 1/3 cup diced celery
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 large egg
- Tear bread into small pieces.
- In a bowl mix remainder of ingredients
and then slowly toss in bread and mix lightly. Stuff the bird.
Makes enough to stuff an
8 to 12 pound turkey.
