These tasty barbecue beans have a distinctive Southwestern flavor that goes great with grilled burgers, beef or poultry.
1 (16-ounce) can great Northern beans
1 (15-ounce) can kidney beans
1 cup barbecue sauce
1 (4-ounce) can diced green chiles, drained
1/4 cup real bacon bits (or 4 slices bacon cooked and crumbled)
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
- Combine Northern beans, kidney beans, barbecue sauce, chiles, bacon bits, chili powder and cumin in medium saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to a low.
- Cook for 10 minutes or until heated through.
