California Roasted Asparagus

No recipe image available.Oven-roasted asparagus drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette is so good, it's almost addictive—one delicious spear after another!

Recipe Ingredients:

1 pound asparagus spears, trimmed and cleaned
Olive oil
Minced garlic to taste
Salt and pepper to taste
Balsamic Vinaigrette or reduced balsamic syrup

Cooking Directions:

  1. Place asparagus spears on baking sheet; drizzle with olive oil and minced garlic, toss to coat and spread in a single layer. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Roast, uncovered, at 450°F (230°C), shaking asparagus pan once or twice to turn spears, about 12 minutes.
  3. When done, asparagus should be crisp-tender.
  4. After asparagus is plated, drizzle with balsamic vinaigrette or reduced balsamic syrup.

Makes 4 servings.
