Deliciously deluxe green beans with sautéed
onions in an easy sour cream sauce garnished with shredded cheddar
cheese.
Deluxe Green Beans
1/3 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
Dash of pepper
1 cup sour cream
1 (20-ounce) package frozen cut green beans, cooked and drained
1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded Wisconsin Cheddar cheese
Sauté onion in butter until tender.
Stir in flour, salt and pepper and cook until thickened. Gently
fold in sour cream and heat thoroughly, do not boil.
Fold beans into sour cream mixture. Transfer
to serving dish, sprinkle with cheese and serve.
