Favorite Green Beans
Quick and easy Southern-style green beans seasoned with sautéed garlic, onion and crisp crumbles of bacon.
4 slices bacon
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
2 (16-ounce) cans green beans, drained
2 teaspoons granulated sugar
- Fry bacon until crisp in large skillet. Remove bacon and crumble for topping.
- Add and garlic to skillet, sauté for 1 minute, or until onion is softened.
- Add green beans and sugar. Cook until heated through and sugar has melted.
- Serve hot, topped with crumbled bacon.
