Fresh Asparagus Baked in Wine Sauce
Looking for an elegant springtime side dish for your holiday menu? Look no further than this enticing wine-baked asparagus dish.
1 pound fresh asparagus, cooked
1/4 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon white wine
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Put cooked asparagus in shallow buttered baking dish.
- Melt butter, add white wine, salt and pepper; pour over asparagus and sprinkle the top with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake uncovered at 425°F (220°C) for 15 minutes. Serve.
