A simple side dish of sautéed
snow peas and garlic tossed with sherry.
Gingered
Snow Peas
- 1 pound fresh snow peas
(or 1 (12-ounce) package frozen snow peas, thawed)
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 teaspoon grated gingerroot
2 tablespoons dry sherry
- Clean snow peas, trimming
if necessary.
- Heat oil in large skillet
over medium heat. Stir in snow peas, garlic and ginger. Sauté
for 2 minutes, until peas are tender.
- Toss with sherry.
