Simply delicious! Tender carrots baked in a thick, buttery orange sauce.

Orange Glazed Carrots

6 to 8 fresh carrots
1/4 cup butter
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
2/3 cup fresh orange juice
  1. Peel carrots and cut into 1-inch lengthwise pieces. Cook until barely tender. Transfer to shallow baking dish.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt butter. Stir in sugars and flour. Gradually add orange juice. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Pour over carrots, stirring gently. (May be made ahead up to this point and refrigerated.)
  3. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.

Makes 6 servings.
