These easy-to-make creamy potatoes are sure to be a hit at your next gathering.

Oven Hash Brown Potatoes

Potatoes Ingredients:
1 (2-pound) package frozen Southern-style hash brown potatoes
1 medium (1/2 cup) onion, chopped
1 medium (1/2 cup) green bell pepper, chopped
1 (16-ounce) container (2 cups) sour cream
1 (10.75-ounce) can condensed cream of potato soup
1 (2-ounce) jar diced pimientos
6 ounces American processed cheese food, cubed 1/2-inch

Topping Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 cup dried bread crumbs
  1. Heat oven to 325° F.
  2. Combine all potato ingredients in large bowl; mix well. Spoon into buttered 13x9-inch baking dish.
  3. Combine all topping ingredients in small bowl; sprinkle over potato mixture.
  4. Bake for 55 to 65 minutes or until potato mixture is bubbly and heated through.

Makes 12 (3/4-cup) servings.

Tip: Southern-style hash browns are coarsely diced potatoes. Shredded hash brown potatoes can also be used in this recipe.
