Peas with Pearl Onions
A deliciously simple and colorful side dish of buttery green peas and pearl onions.
1/4 cup butter, unsalted
1 (16-ounce) package frozen pearl onions
2 (16-ounce) packages frozen peas
Salt and pepper to taste
- In a 3-quart pan with a lid, melt the butter on medium heat and then add the pearl onions. Cook onions, covered, for 2 minutes.
- Add peas, cover and cook another 4 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
