A hearty, yet easy micro-cooked side dish of buttery cubed potatoes and sliced onions. Weeknight easy, weekend worthy.
3 large Idaho Potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 small onions, sliced
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon paprika
- Combine all ingredients in a deep 3-quart microwave-safe casserole dish. Cover with microwaveable plastic wrap and microwave at HIGH 9 to 11 minutes, or until potatoes and onions are tender, stirring every 5 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
