Once you've tasted roasted asparagus, you
may never want steamed again!
Roasted Asparagus
- 1 pound asparagus
2 tablespoons olive oil
5 cloves garlic, minced
Salt, to taste
Lemon juice to taste or use raspberry vinegar to taste
- Wash asparagus and cut off tough ends
of stalks. Toss with olive oil, minced garlic and salt. Spread
on oiled cookie sheet.
- Bake in oven 375°F (190°C) for
20 to 30 minutes, turning after 10 minutes. Cooking time will
vary according to how thick the asparagus is and how done you
prefer them.
- Serve with a sprinkling of lemon juice
or raspberry vinegar.
