Sausage Stuffing

Sausage StuffingA simple, straightforward bread stuffing seasoned with sweet Italian turkey sausage, chicken broth and butter—and nothing more.

Recipe Ingredients:

1 pound Honeysuckle White® Sweet Italian Turkey Sausage
2 (6 to 8-ounce) packages bread stuffing mix
3 cups chicken or turkey broth
1/2 cup butter, melted

Cooking Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add sausage and cook until evenly browned.
  2. Prepare stuffing according to package instructions (using chicken broth and melted butter).
  3. Add cooked sausage and drippings to the stuffing; mix well.
  4. Place in a buttered casserole dish and bake until golden brown and crisp.
