
These 'smashed' potatoes are the ultimate
comfort food...so creamy and tasty!
Smashed
Potatoes
- 2 pounds unpeeled russet
potatoes, thoroughly washed
3/4 cup NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Place washed potatoes
in large saucepan; add cool water until covered. Bring to a boil.
Boil for 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Drain. Peel
potatoes, if desired.
- Mash potatoes with evaporated
milk. Add butter; mash. Season to taste with salt and ground
black pepper.
