Southwestern Wagonwheel PastaThis kid-friendly pasta dish can be served as a hearty side dish or a delicious and satisfying main dish. For a complete meal, serve with warm flour tortillas and a salad made of orange segments, jicama, a touch of lime juice and honey.

Recipe Ingredients:

3/4 pound wagon wheel pasta, prepared according to package directions, kept hot
1 j(15-ounce) ORTEGA Salsa - Homestyle Recipe (Mild)
1 (4-ounce) can diced ORTEGA Diced Green Chiles
1 (15-ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
1/3 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack or cheddar cheese
1/4 cup sliced green onions for garnish
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro for garnish
1 tomato, diced for garnish

Cooking Directions:

  1. Combine picante sauce, chiles and beans in small skillet; heat through. Add sour cream.
  2. Combine pasta and sauce; garnish with cheese, onions, cilantro and tomato.
