Welsh-Rarebit and Grits Casserole.

Serve this hearty casserole for breakfast with eggs and bacon for a real down-home meal or as a side dish with your favorite dinner entrée.

Welsh Rarebit and Grits Casserole

1 (11-ounce) package frozen Welsh rarebit, defrosted*
1 cup quick-cooking grits, prepared according to package directions
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup chopped green onions
2 large eggs, slightly beaten
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 clove garlic, minced
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C); grease 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
  2. Combine welsh rarebit, grits, milk, green onions, eggs, butter and garlic in medium bowl. Pour into prepared dish.
  3. Bake for 50 to 55 minutes or until set and top is brown. Season with salt and black ground pepper.
