Here's how to turn a package
of frozen French fries into a creamy, cheesy baked potato casserole.

Cheesy Baked French Fries
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups milk
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Wisconsin Cheddar cheese
2 (16-ounce) packages frozen French fries
1 cup corn flakes, crushed
- In a saucepan, melt butter; gradually
add flour and salt. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until
mixture thickens. Add shredded cheese and stir until melted.
- Place french fries in buttered 2 quart
baking dish and top with cheese sauce; sprinkle with crushed
corn flakes.
- Bake in 375°F (190°C) oven for
25 to 30 minutes
