Easy Cheesy Broccoli Soup
- 1 quart water
2 to 3 cups frozen diced hash brown potatoes
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 ( 20-ounce) package frozen chopped broccoli
2 teaspoons chicken flavoring (or 2 bouillon cubes)
2 (10 3/4-ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 pound American processed cheese (Velveeta), cubed
- In a Dutch oven, combine the water, potatoes, onions, broccoli and chicken flavoring. Cook 15 to 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
- Stir in the canned soups and cheese and simmer for an additional 15 minutes.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
