German Potato Soup

Recipe Ingredients:

6 cups russet potatoes, peeled and diced
3/4 cup chopped green onions
1/3 cup shredded carrots
1/4 cup minced celery
1 pint heavy whipping cream
3 tablespoons chicken base
1/4 pound butter

Cooking Directions:

  1. Boil potatoes, carrots, green onions and celery until potatoes are fork tender, about 15 minutes. Then add cream, soup base and butter. Stir until soup becomes very creamy.
  2. Season to taste with salt and cracked black pepper.

Makes 8 servings.
