Texas Tortilla Soup

1 pound ground beef
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1 (16-ounce) can whole tomatoes
1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (15-ounce) can corn
1 (15-ounce) can kidney beans
1 package taco seasoning mix
4 cups tortilla chips
Shredded cheddar cheese
Sliced black olives
Sour cream
  1. Brown ground beef; drain. Add chopped onions and cook 3 more minutes. Stir in whole tomatoes, tomato sauce, canned corn (drained), kidney beans (drained), and taco seasoning mix. Simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes.
  2. Serve over tortilla chips and garnish with shredded cheddar cheese, sliced black olives, and sour cream.

Makes 4 servings.
