Elegant Shrimp Ball
This delicious shrimp and cream cheese ball makes great appetizer for cocktail parties.
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (10-ounce) package frozen shrimp, thawed, patted dry and chopped
1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
1/4 cup slivered almonds
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon onion salt
1 (9.75-ounce) jar shrimp cocktail sauce*
- Combine cream cheese, shrimp, celery, almonds, lemon juice, garlic powder and onion salt in medium bowl.
- Shape into a ball; refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Pour sauce over cream cheese ball; serve with crackers.
